@anthony this is a GREAT question! We see race used like a gun (used as a club) through the micro aggressions that such as being “randomly” searched in airports or through stereotypic representations. Race is used like a machine gun (deadly) when we think of the large and pervasive (and still constant) increase in anti-MENA violence after 9-11 or any conflict in the Middle East. These experiences and stories must be elevated and discussed too!
